Furball

There's never much writing-time during summer. At least not for me. There are so many things to do- and only so many weeks to do it. Add to that a tiny little ball of fluff and you will have a recipe for 'having your hands full'.

The white furball, full of sharp things, in the picture is my new little friend. She's the kitten I bought off my neighbour June 29th. She's adorable, cuddly and playful. She sleeps in my bed and goes on walks with me.

She also wakes me but between six and eight am every morning. And turns my bedroom into a quarter of chaos. And meows piercingly loud when she wants to go for a walk. She tried to turn all my carpets to balls of threads and her claws, which she are happy to use at any give moment, are extremely sharp.

But I love her.

Life's much more rich when you have a pet of choice, in my case a cat, to be there with you through it all. Because as much of a nuisance as she is she also manages to cheer me up and put a smile one my face.

Pets are precious. And, granted, she needs a lot of time care and attention-being the kitten that she is. Which means a little bit less time for the already little amount of time I have for this blog. She will grow up soon enough though. And summer will be over with the blink of an eye. And then there will be more time for brooding and bloging.
